JD Wetherspoon has appointed Savills and CBRE to handle the disposal of 45 of its pubs.
The chain announced in November last year that it planned to sell 34 pubs in England, Scotland and Wales.
However, it will now be selling 45 of its pubs that are being considered for sale either individually, in small packages or as a portfolio.
All the pubs are located in strong town and city-centre locations within England, Scotland and Wales and of the 45 pubs, 33 are being brought to market for the first time.
23 of the 45 also have strong exposure to London and the South and the portfolio comes following the success of JD Wetherspoon’s sale of packages of pubs to operators, including Amber Taverns, Brewhouse & Kitchen, Hawthorn Leisure, Stonegate and Urban Pubs & Bars.
